Movie series - The Grand Budapest Hotel

The Grand Budapest Hotel is a 2014 comedy-drama film written and directed by Wes Anderson. The story is about the adventures of a concierge and a lobby boy of The Grand Budapest Hotel, a popular ski resort in the 1930s.

"I’ve always loved miniatures in general,” Anderson told the New York Times. “I just like the charm of them.” A scale replica of the hotel with a working funicular and mind-numbing details was created for the movie. And a number of large-scale miniatures were constructed by Simon Weisse's Berlin-based team.

Also Wes Anderson actually wrote every single story for each newspaper, whether or not they were directly in the shot, or anything at all to the film’s overall narrative. This includes: The Trans Alpine Yodel, The Daily Fact, and The Continental Drift.
